How it works

We make it quick to reach a dock builder who works on your part of the lake.

  1. You call or send a request

Tell us your town or cove and what you need: a new dock, a boat or PWC lift, repairs or re-foaming, a dock move, new cables, or shoreline work.

  2. We connect you with a local company

Calls and requests go to an independent dock builder or shoreline contractor that works on Lake of the Ozarks.

  3. The company handles the job

They quote, schedule and do the work. Pricing, warranties and terms come from them directly.

What we are and aren't

Lake Ozark Dock Builders is a referral service, not a contractor. We don't send crews or employ technicians, and we don't set prices. Using the site is free for homeowners.

Ameren Missouri requires docks, additions, modifications and re-foaming to be done by an Ameren Certified Dock Builder or by the property owner, and no work can start until Ameren issues a permit. Ask the builder to confirm their certification, who will file the Ameren application and the fire district electrical permit, which Ameren-approved flotation they use, and to put the design, timeline and warranty in a written contract.
