Request a dock builder
If your dock has broken loose or you think its wiring is unsafe, call. For new docks, lifts and planned repairs, send a request and a local builder will call you back.
Before you call
It helps to have:
- Your town or cove and address, so the right builder gets your request
- What you need: a new dock, a lift, re-foaming or repairs, a dock move, or shoreline work
- Your boat's length and type, plus any PWCs
- Whether the dock has power, and its current Ameren permit number if you know it
- Whether you're buying or selling, since permit transfers need extra steps
Felt a tingle in the water near a dock? Don't touch the dock or ladders. Swim away from it, get out of the water away from the dock, and keep everyone out of the water until a qualified electrician has checked it.
